“No te quemes y ¡apaga el fuego!” es una variación del tradicional juego “quemados” Los participantes formarán 2 equipos de 5 a 8 integrantes por equipo. Los dos equipos representarán a los bomberos (pañuelo azul) y el fuego (pañuelo rojo). Los jugadores del equipo “bomberos” deberán apagar a los integrantes del equipo “Fuego” lanzando un balón, y deberán impedir que los integrantes del equipo fuego, acaben con el equipo de bomberos. Terminando el juego el director hará unas preguntas a los participantes.
For the whole group:
- A soft ball.
- A whistle for the game director.
- a coin.
- a large garbage bag.
For each participant:
- 2 Scarfs of two different colors (for example: 1 red and 1 blue)
- Form two teams, each team with 5-8 participants.
- Name team 1 the “fire fighters” and keep their badge in sight (a blue scarf), team 2 is the “fire” show their badge in sight (a red scarf).
- The objective of the “firefighters” team is to try to extinguish the fire, extinguishing the participants of the “fire” team try to prevent the fire from destroying the firefighters.
- The objective of the “fire” team is to kill the “firefighters” members, try to prevent the firefighters from extinguishing the fire.
- To do this, each team throws the ball to one of the participants of the opposing team, who must touch some part of his body.

- Avoid being “turned off”, players can try to catch the ball. If they succeed, they save their life, in these cases the ball must not touch the ground.
- When a firefighter touches the ball to a fire, the referee has to remove the red badge and immediately turns off, but starts being a firefighter now wearing a blue badge. (the same in the case of a fire that touches a firefighter).
- Line up and stand facing each other, no less than two meters apart, each team taking its place on the field.
- Flip a coin to see which team starts the game.
- Start at the whistle signal
- End the game when one of the teams is left without participants.
- When the game is over, gather in a circle.
- Answer and think about the following questions:
- Why is it important to monitor and extinguish an outdoor fire?
- What actions do you suggest in your community to prevent a fire?
- What is the attitude God wants from you to preserve the earth from fire?
- The earth belongs to God because He created it, and He gave mankind the responsibility to care for, preserve and develop the earth.
- Collect garbage, especially glass, which can cause forest fires.
- Make sure that the place where they are going to play is free of objects that could be dangerous.
- Divide the group into two teams of 5 to 8 people each.
- Name the teams and give out badges, the “firefighters” team may wear a blue cap or scarf and the “fire” team may wear a red cap or scarf.
- Flip a coin to find out which team starts throwing the ball.
- Explain that the goal of the blue team “firefighters” is to put out the fire by touching the red team “fire” with the ball. y The goal of the red team “fire” is to kill the “firemen” in the same way by touching them with the ball.
- Have the whistle handy and explain that when the whistle blows the game stops.
- When you see that a participant touches someone with the ball, a change of handkerchiefs must be made.
